Clean water can be fine, you just have to adjust your technique, and a little damiki/dropshot combo did it for DC in the last stage. They were also pumping water so there was a ton of current in there, and those bass gravitated to that current. Right place at the right time! 2 Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted March 24, 2022 Author Super User Posted March 24, 2022 30 minutes left in period 2 ~ Been some notable movement on the scoretracker - in both directions. How about J Lee 3 for 9lbs day one and 7 for 24lbs so far day two. Good enough to go from the the bottom all the way up to 6th place currently. I like it. Even made me break down and order a few Stunna's - A-Jay 1 Quote

Super User jbsoonerfan Posted March 24, 2022 Super User Posted March 24, 2022 Is Skeet just using that color crankbait because it matches his outfit, which match his boat, which match his rods and reels. LOL 2 Quote

Ski213 Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 I’m just now getting to start watching the replay of today. Didn’t see any of yesterday. My first thought is that I really dig B Coulter’s headwear. Quote

EWREX Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 zack birge just caught a fish and it initially weighed 1lb. 14oz. which is non score-able. he requested to weigh it again and it came up 2lb. 2oz. a FOUR ounce difference and that is absolutely ridiculous in my eyes. how many of these weights are not correct and causing anglers to not have their correct weights recorded that deeply effect their standings? 3 Quote
BassNJake Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Yesterday Michael Neal figured out he was better off finishing 2nd. So he tried to not weigh anymore fish. However, Edwin Evers was already in the I dont want to weigh in anymore mode. Seems to have bit Edwin for the first half of the day he's made up some ground but is a far cry from the first day 1 Quote

Seems a bit odd that catching less fish would be advantageous in a fishing tournament Quote

ryanerb Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Man, everyone is struggling today, but yet no one is going for a dropshot or some other semi-guarantee bait? So weird... I did see one shakey head fish caught... Maybe water is too dirty for dropshot? Quote

Now he has this off day and will need to relocate his fish 1 Quote

This was definitely the biggest gap I've seen. They are doing the best they can, with the best scales they got, etc. Unless they all livewell their fish and bring them to the same scale, there's inherently going to be some very slight miscalculations. I guess these anglers have gotten over that and for the most part trust the system. I would say for the most part I trust the system. But any big winnings within a ounce or two of each other would make me a little uneasy. Again, I think they are just doing the best they can given the format. 2 Quote

Sounds like the scale didn’t zero out before the fish was dropped. Possible the official made an error or the angler jumped the gun. Quote

Guys miss the cut by an once or two all the time. Nature of the beast. Can't be any worse than a Called Strike 3 or a Ball 4 with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th in game 7 of the World Series. "Uneasy" is what fans talk about & remember. Plus weighing a fish on a moving, rocking & rolling, boat will always have variables. A-Jay 3 Quote
