Bass Rutten Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Prefer cone style, holds really well and allows you to remove a plastic with minimal damage for re-use, sharp barbs are more or less one and done on plastics, prefer lead over wire, rips less. Quote

Super User fishballer06 Posted March 23, 2022 Super User Posted March 23, 2022 I personally prefer a lead keeper. The wire and screw type really tear the bait up to the point of no return for me. I have noticed some jigheads in production these days that have a vertical and horizontal lead bait keeper on them and those hold better than any other design I've seen. My baits last longer with that design over anything. Quote
