Sam Spade Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 I've got a lot of new, unopened baits, especially crankbaits, in original packaging? How are you all storing baits in bulk in their original packaging? Quote

Super User J Francho Posted March 21, 2022 Super User Posted March 21, 2022 I'd like to get to the pegboard way in my new house, but for now they're in large Rubbermaid totes. 3 Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted March 21, 2022 Super User Posted March 21, 2022 Right now I don't have enough spare hard or soft baits to put on pegs. Only use 1 drawer of that Sterilite container in fact to store both. Quote

FishinBuck07 Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 They aren't in the pack long enough for me to think about it! Straight into the tackle box they go. 1 Quote

HaydenS Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 If a bait can make it from the store to the truck without getting opened, I bought a lot of stuff and didn’t have time to get to that bait yet. Extra baits get hung on a peg board, by their hooks, cause the packaging got destroyed in the opening process. 2 Quote

So I have a water proof box that cnc lathe manuals came in from Japan. I’m completely cleaning the garage on my next day off. Which, after I’ll be adding a bunch of storage. At this I’d put most tackle stores to Shame with just my eBay winnings with hard baits. As when I win I usually win duplicates IE lucky craft and war eagles. Quote

No, I mean the actual boxes that boots and sneakers come in. Between military boots, and past in the sporting goods industry, I have maybe 100. I put a little masking or painter's tape on them to label them, but I know what's in them anyway, and most have just one type of bait. The whole peg board thing doesn't make sense to me. 1 Quote
InfantryMP Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 I have some pegboard in my garage, however typically I will get another 3700 box. For cranks for example, I will start organizing by color and depth if I get to the point I have so many. Then for a specific day, if I want to grab a couple from each, I can do that without bringing out so many 3700's on the boat. Quote
