My 21’ Skeeter always jumped on plane but now it’s like a slingshot with noticeable less bow lift. Good luck ? I was so surprised by the weight, or lack thereof, I brought my wife out and got her to hold the battery with one hand. She was as shocked as I was. It's one thing to read a weight. It's a totally different thing to FEEL that weight. 1 Quote

I also think that with engine batteries in particular we have all been traiend to prepare to lift up this small package that is incredibly heavy and when we end up grabbing a battery and it weighs next to nothing it is even more shocking. 1 Quote
Super User T-Billy Posted March 27, 2022 Super User Posted March 27, 2022 I found this interesting and educational. I'll probably go this route and may do it yet this year. Note to self, Don't charge below freezing. Quote

Also happens to be my favorite time to fish. 1 Quote

Haha, well to quote Charlie Daniels in “uneasy rider”………… ”I ain’t even got a garage, you can call home and ask my wife!” 1 Quote
Big Rick Posted March 30, 2022 Author Posted March 30, 2022 Well, I've been fishing a couple of time for about 4 hours each trip. All I can say is WOW. I had no idea the difference was so stark. I now understand the sentiment offered by so many others that have swapped to LiFePo stating they'll never go back to lead acid. The power delivery is so linear and smooth. And the increase of power is very obvious. But, more importantly to me is the consistent stream of voltage to my Ultrex. It's never operated so smoothly after 4 hours of heavy use. I'm sure there's a little placebo effect because I am so enamored with my new setup, but the difference between LiFePo and lead acid batteries is real obvious and pronounced. Time will be the real story teller here. But, my initial experience leaves me impressed and glad I bit the bullet. 3 1 Quote

Someone emailed them about this and was told they hoped to go back to what they were using before this summer. Now might not be a good time to buy this battery. Here is the post I read on diysolarforum.com Here is the reply I received from CHINSUSA on my 100AH battery in one day, not bad customer service and honest detail, IMO. They also said their 200 and 300 AH do have prismatic cells at this time but that the soft pack cells work just as good as prismatic cells I am satisfied with their reply and customer service, not too bad. thank you for your mail. SKU: 12100-211227 is a soft pack battery, we have checked that your shipment is a soft pack battery. If you can accept we can give you a 15% refund, if not we can give you a return. Due to a shortage of prismatic cells, production is currently unavailable. Production of prismatic cells will resume around June-July this year. Sorry, currently only 12V 200Ah, 12V 300Ah batteries and Smart 12V 100AH batteries are prismatic. We have some scratched 12V 100AH batteries that are also prismatic. 1 1 1 Quote

That was one of my reasons for going with ionic they only use grade A cells no b or c. Quote
