looking at getting a hummingbird side finder but i would use it on 2 or 3 small john boats. has anyone done this with their fish finders? i also fish from the front of the boat so that back of the boat where the transducer would be mounted is going to be higher out of the water column. so would i mount the transducer lower? i know its some boring questions but as always you guys are great and im hoping for some advice!

thanks in advance

travis!

Not a problem switching boats you'll need to buy seperate power cables & transducers, I mount the tranducer slightly lower than the bottom of the boat.

Another solution, get a transducer mounting bracket for the TM or a suction cup transducer mounting bracket, that way you can switch back and forth in between boats.
