I read earlier that they already started selling tickets for it too!  Joe Mixon thinks its a slap in the face for the NFL to already start planning and selling tickets for the Bills and Chiefs to be playing in the AFC Title game lol.

Kinda crazy how the NFL front office would botch that so bad after the “Super Wildcard Weekend” promotion of the expanded playoffs.

*I think the Atlanta game tickets were announced before the wildcard games

Hurts looked fine last game.  His throwing motion was fine as was his mobility.  They were definitely calling a game to protect him and it worked.  He is fine.  If the Eagles play below average, they win a close one, if they play average they win easily and if they play above average they win in a blowout.  The O line and D line of philly will prove to be way too much handle.

Bills

Niners

Chiefs (want to pick Jags but i just can't)

Eagles

They are the better team and to me the most epic super bowl in history would be bills eagles....would have been better before we got a super bowl but still.  Those fan bases are like cousins to me....both crazy rabid fan bases that ge a bad rap but aren't that bad really.

Local ESPN radio here mentioned something - I think it was either

a tweet, or another ESPN personality said it, the 9ers v Cowboys

will come down to whether Bosa or Parsons has the better game

getting to the QB. I have a hard time seeing Cowboys coming out

as victors, but any given day...

Would love to see Jags beat the Chiefs and Bills beat Bengals to

have a Josh vs. Trevor showdown in Buffalo.  A Northeast SB

would be great - that would be either Buffalo vs. Eagles or Giants.

I don't quite understand this mindset with the Cowboys/49ers game.  Everyone thinks that the 49ers are some kind of juggernaut with no chinks in the armor.  They haven't played a quality team since October 23 (unless you consider the Chargers and Seahawks a quality team).  Does everyone forget that they lost to the Bears in week 1?  Yes, the Bears.  They finished with 3 wins this season.

Take a look at the point spreads set by sport books in Vegas.  The 49ers are only favored by 3.5 points.  Its the closest matchup on paper in the Divisional Round.  From a raw data standpoint, that is the most likely upset.

San Fran has had a very easy schedule, easiest in the league but part of that also comes with winning games.  Dallas and the Eagles also had easy schedules and then the Cowboys beat the eagles and it boosted their strength of schedule.  Niners defense is legit though no matter who they are playing allowing the # of points they have per game is pretty good.  The biggest question mark with them is the QB but they have a good coaching staff so I don't think they will allow the pressure to get him and make his job as easy as possible.  Using a loss in week 1 on a 13 win team is pretty meaningless.

Roger goodell wouldnt like that, he needs big market teams to draw in the viewers for advertisement money. Its not about us the fans but the owners and the nfl to rake in more money.

Well, any given Sunday, I guess. I was not aware of the odds, though.

Sad but true. Would be a nice upset, though, Jags, that is ;) .

let me guess....you think the league is rigged too.  Advertising dollars are always high and the NFL doesn't get that money anyways, the networks do.

Gambling has always been involved now it is just legal in more places so their piece of the pie is larger which has no impact on the others.  The networks are the ones who care most about advertising as the big 3 rotate year by year and i think they paid 1B a piece or something for a ten year deal.  They get the vast majority of the advertising money.  League gets some but nothing like the networks.

My mindset as well.

No disrespect to the Niners but that cupcake schedule isn't really telling.

Hard for me to imagine that Mr irrelevant will win a SB...... beating Dallas and likely winning at Philly and then winning again in the SB.

Simply don't see it.

Aaaahhh did you watch or read about the 2018 playoff game between the rams and the saints? The No Call game as its referred to.

Nfl wanted big city Rams to go to sb so they could generate interest in the rams building of new stadium in LA.

I figured you thought it was rigged.  And yes I watched the game. It doesn't even make sense to try and push them through for whatever reason.  The stadium was already being built for a few years by the time the game was played and new stadiums always draw fans no matter where they finish in the standings.

Do you have a team you root for since it is rigged?

Maybe I will regret this, but here are my Divisional picks.

Chiefs over Jags by at least 10

Eagles (barf) over Giants by 3 or less

Bengals over Bills by 3 or less

Cowboys over 49ers by 7

I wasn't particularly impressed with the Eagles in week 18, and I think Hurts is not 100% healthy.  Was definitely not impressed by the Bills last week.  Allen commits too many turnovers, and the Bengals defense is better.  The Cowboys were the best looking team last week and I think the Niners aren't ready for a team of their caliber.

A side note, the NFL has already sold over 50,000 tickets to the AFC Championship in Atlanta.  Seems a little predetermined, don't ya think?  They're banking pretty heavily on the Chiefs and Bills to be playing it before they even know.

Ha Ha, I've seen some bad calls in critical moments but don't believe any professional sport is rigged.......... unless you consider pro wrestling a sport ?.

I've got.....

KC 31 Jags 24

Eagles 37 Giants 17

Bills 27 Bengals 24

Cowboys 28 49ers 27

All good teams have easy schedules because, well, they’re better than most teams they play which should make each game easier…because, they’re better.

They’re are no easy games in the NFL.

Since the Fightin Tom Brady’s are out..go 9ers!
