Just so we stay on track and don't forget....the eagles and their fans are apparently trash or so I have been told all season.  That makes all the teams in the NFC even more trash like the fraud Seahawks, cowboys, giants and niners, everyone already knew the vikings were garbage.  The Eagles put up 31 on the highly touted niners defense and Bosa was nothing more than an afterthought.

Eagles are on a roll and are gonna win Sunday and I am gonna take a couple days off to go to the parade once they win.

That makes 2 parades for you this year. Just don't wear your assless chaps and blonde wig to this one like the last.

Love a good soft pretzel

I got Eagles by a late field goal. Just viewing as a casual fan. No dog in this one for me.

Enjoy the game.

It’s really hard to beat a quality cheesesteak on an Amoroso roll. Piled high with chopped and grilled thinly-sliced fresh rib-eye steak, scads of fried onions and provolone cheese. I prefer a cheesesteak hoagie with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and hot peppers. It’s one major thing I really miss about living in NE Maryland and working in Philly.

That was a food network review.

I could never be a true food critic. If I really like it, I’m speechless!

What I always find amusing is everywhere you go other than Philly, Jersey or most of Maryland, a “Philly cheesesteak” always has green bell peppers, and often, Swiss cheese. No one in Philly or the surrounding area EVER puts green peppers on a cheesesteak. And it’s either provolone, yellow American or Cheez Whiz. Never Swiss.

Hots may be chopped red/green cherry peppers (that’s real Philly) or hot cherry pepper spread.

And don’t get me started on hot Italian grinders or chicken cutlet hoagies. People can hate on Philadelphia for many things, but if you love good food, it’s a paradise.

i go to my butcher and have them thinly slice the ribeye for me and get a decent roll and it works in a pinch.

I will disagree on the yellow american though...it is whiz, sharp provolone or white american on cheesesteaks.  I compeltely agree with the hot cherry peppers and no green peppers.

General rule of thumb is if they say philly in the name don't buy it and if you have to ask for it to not have lettuce tomato or mayo on it, don't buy it.

I made some last weekend with some freshly sliced ribeye, onions, hot cherry peppers and white american on a local bakery roll and it was almsot as good as i can get back home and light years better than what i can get down here in VA lol

I meant white but am used to saying “yellow American” at the deli lol.

I cannot find a decent hoagie roll here. Either they are spongy soft or way too crusty. At least Kroger sells thinly-sliced steak. But without the roll it’s really lacking.

Most people I know in Maryland get cheesesteaks with L-T-M-FO-HP lol. That’s a cheesesteak hoagie in Philly. Never saw many order those while I was there. Almost always nothing but steak, onions and cheese. And most use hot cherry pepper relish vs whole cherry peppers chopped on the grill. I like both.
