 I’m of course cheering for the bungles but they always say beating a team twice or 3 times is hard, 4 might be too tall of a task. With the chiefs at home, I predict mahomes comes up with some crazy pass to Kelce after dodging 3 rushers late to put them in position for a game winning field goal. Or something like that ……..

 

On the nfc side, it seems like a low scoring game would break out, lots of power running. I’ll take the over and say there are some more fireworks than expected and this one may end up in overtime. Prediction: hurts to smith for the winning TD

49ers game was brutal. Terrible timing to lose your 3rd string qb on his first throw of the game and then have your 4th stringer take a header off the turf soon after. Having a qb who literally cannot throw a ball may work in high school, but the NFC championship game was bad timing for that experiment.

 

Really enjoyed the AFC game, but holy smokes wth was Ossai thinking putting a late hit/shove on Mahomes with almost no time left to give them a 45 yrd field goal attempt instead of a 60 yarder. That was Marvin Lewis era discipline in the days of Vontaze Burfict. Smh... brutal way to lose a chance at the Super Bowl.

Would have been 8 seconds on the clock with no time outs. Sideline play would have been the only option. At the time of the kick it was around 17* (per the weather channel)... not sure he had a 60 yarder in him in those temps plus that 45 yarder he nailed didn't have a lot of distance left in it.

Sure those no telling what the next play would bring had the late hit never happened. Regardless, that was the dumbest thing you could do knowing full well he was going out of bounds.

The titans knew full well mahomes was going out of bounds in the AFC championship a few years ago and let up on the sideline………

I was fishing all day, it's really cold here I promise. They said Butker was coming up short from 55 in pregame from the same end he kicked and that last kick didn't clear by much. The wind is still blowing pretty hard too. I'm sure he'd have given it everything he had, but I just don't think he could have got it out there much further without that penalty.

I just had to check to make sure Ossai didn't play at Tennessee. ? No doubt Mahomes could have won it in OT... just a bummer way for the Bengals to miss a chance to get back to the Super Bowl. That said, it should be an excellent game with a healthy(er) Mahomes going up against the Eagles.

Hahaha! Yeah it was a bad play but like coach said postgame, that wasn’t what lost it. Leave mahomes 30 seconds at midfield? How do you think that will end?
