Totally agree with your first paragraph. 
I’m just glad we don’t have to hear about them for another 8 months. 

As for your 2 nd..I don’t know. 
I think SF is set up just right for this game. 
The wide zone they run can negate a constant full on push. 
The wild card in this is of course Purdy. 

 

I think by the end of the first quarter after Philadelphia throws everything they got at him we’ll pretty much know.

Yup, good, sometimes very good or even great teams loose in the playoffs, it happens.

Hard for me to think Purdy can come out of Philly with a win.

Philly looked dominate at every position against the Giants.

Nice selective quoting there.  I said the bills came out flat and ill add now they played like trash.  Cowboys lost a one possession game but if you watched you know it could have been way worse.  Cowboys are a fraud team because every year for the last 30 was their year and it never is.  They won a road playoff game for the first time in what almost 3 decades.  

 

Not all teams are frauds but all seasons that don't end in a parade are a failure.

The issue with the Cowboys remains the same......Dak Prescott turnovers.

Mr irrelevant has as many playoff wins as Dak after 2 games.

That enormous contract may never reap any reward and such a great defense. Idk

Unfortunately as a big Chiefs fan, I am afraid this may be so as well.  Expecting Mahomes to heal much from a high ankle sprain in one week would be verging on the miraculous.  The likely way for the Chiefs to win this is if Mahomes is hot for four quarters, but he can't even plant his back foot to throw.  The rest of the team will really have to step up their game.  I hope I am wrong, but without him performing at a high level I think it unlikely.  Still . . . . hoping for a win.

High ankle sprains are almost as bad as hamstring strains, they just seem to linger around forever.  Watching last game he definitley was having issues with it.

Some good games so far in the playoffs. All the deserving teams are in the championship game. 
 

NFC: Eagles. Gotta think a team playing a number 1 QB over a back up should win. 
 

AFC: Bengals. Is anyone hotter than Burrow?

I know Mahomes is a fierce competitor, but he may have done

more damage playing on it than sitting out. But he got the W.

I do think Joe Cool and the Bengals will pull off W #4 vs Chiefs.

 

An interesting quote I read plays on the old Bengals negative

nickname, the Bungles. "Bills Bungle vs Bengals" or something

close to that. Definitely true. I knew after the first Bengals 

possession. Then their second. Bills didn't get a first down until

the second quarter. Second. Quarter. Just awful performance.

 

Guess all the happenings in Buffalo this past season really took

an emotional toll. I thought it'd be fuel, apparently they were on

fumes by the Bengals game....

Dallas coach is average at best the Super Bowl win in Green Bay was a hot streak and a much better quarterback than dak at the helm. Way too many freak plays decimated more Super Bowl wins for the packers look back at the outcomes of nfc championship games. Just sayin

I agree about their coach but their coach wasn't the one throwing 2 picks and almost a 3rd to end the game.

Indeed, and we Seahawks know what how a  best defensive team stacks up against a best offensive team in a Super Bowl, lol. ?

The niners have a phenomenal D, great weapons on O, and a coach that knows how to maximize the qb position when given the correct player that is willing to listen. Purdy would be on the bench on any other team. Take away Samuel and/or McCaffrey and he's exposed, thats not a great qb, thats a great system.

Niners have some great players but stacked, eh not sure.  They had the easiest schedule in the league.  The Eagles are stacked with talent and can beat you from all kinds of ways as we have seen all season.  Bosa isn't going to run free like he has against other teams.  There are 3 on the line that can handle him 1 on 1.  Eagles on offense are way more rounded and have beaten teams on the ground with hurts, on the ground with sanders, on the ground with gainwell, through the air with goedert, through the air with Brown etc.....They can get to the QB from all places and rotate guys in and keep them fresh.  Niners are a good team but playing in one of if not the weakest divisions in football benefitted them and I promise you Purdy will be wishing he was still holding a clipboard.

reading comprehension fails you.....but i will help.  He listed two of their weapons out of probably three.  You remove one and it drastically changes how a young, inexperienced qb will handle it.  My prediction is

Not sure where I failed at there? Take 2 major weapons away from any offense and the QB is going to struggle. If Hurts didn't have Smith and Brown, are they in the championship game? I know the Chiefs wouldn't be if they lost Kelce and Ju-Ju, probably not if they just lost Kelce. 

 

FWIW, I had the Eagles and Bengles in the Superb Owl so I think they're going to win also.
