Man, what an ugly loss by the Vikings yesterday.  Dallas really exposed them, especially on the offensive line.  Cousins was under heavy assault the entire game.  Granted, Dallas has a top defense, but there was absolutely no adjustment at halftime either.

Quick turnaround to make up for it though.  Patriots at the Vikings on Thursday night.

Cousins did not like that

There weren't really any adjustments to be made at that point. When the Vikings got the ball for the first time in the 2nd half it was already 30-3 and Cousins looked like he just wanted to go home. The Cowboys hadn't punted yet in the game and scored on their first 7 possessions. Dallas got embarrassed the week before in Green Bay and were out for blood.

The NFC is completely up for grabs, all of the top teams are very beatable.

Detroits defensive Plan with 20 seconds left: let Diggs run wide open down the middle. Hmmm

I’ll never understand why teams can force punts the whole game until the last drive, then just slack off and let the other team march down and win . It happens several times a week in the NFL

Seems like no one ever brings any pressure , just “prevent” defense. Which we’ve always said “prevents” you from winning

The Bills are still looking a bit rough but, a win is a win.

I sure hope Von Miller is going to be alright. The last hit Allen took to the knee took sure took a couple years off my life.

I'll take the dub, but yeah, wasn't pretty.

After-game interview, Josh said he landed on his glute and had

the wind knocked out of him a little, but feeling great. Also asked

about Romo's comments stating Josh's "injury" is affecting him-

referring to elbow. Josh basically hemmed and hawwed a little

and said -- who isn't injured in the NFL right now...so probably like

Aaron dealing with a broken thumb, Josh's elbow is def not right.

Von is a key to this team. I, too, hope he's gonna be quick to

recover. We so need this team to be healthy. Too many Def players

out right now. Gotta be healthy for the stretch.

The Bengals have now beaten the Chiefs three times in a row. And thanks to KCs loss plus the Niners beating Miami, the Bills have now moved into the top spot in the AFC.

The Cowboys are starting to look dangerous now too. Their defense is legit.

Hey @Glenn what happened in Seattle yesterday?  Beaten by a team trying to tank on the season?  The Detroit kitties are coming hard for that final playoff spot too.  #RESTORETHEROAR

I’m not sure what is going on with Detroit but holy cow are they on a tear. Five of the last six games with a W. The radio said this morning they are coming into the easiest part of their schedule too With the Jets being the toughest. Keep in mind they have the Rams first round pick, so if they continue to suck the Lions could get a top five pick.

In other news, the Bills continue to roll. They didn’t look the greatest yesterday but they got the win.

Go Bills!

Lions have been nothing short of "wow" to me. They are rallying

around a passionate coach. Goff playing well...

Bills are 10-3, squeaked out a few, but we were what, 7 and 6 last

year at this time? Tough schedule, this year, too.

And can we please talk about poor Mike White!? That dude took

an absolutely crushing, body folding shot from Milano and came

back and played. No wonder the teammates prefer him to the

number 2 pick in the draft. I mean dang.

Should be nice n' chilly in Orchard Park on Saturday night. A little

something for the Dolphins after letting the Bills bake in the sun

and humidity in the first game. LOL.

Ya I posted that about 2 pages ago.  Old news lol.

In all honesty though, the Bengals are playing good ball right now.  At the beginning of the season, I wasn't sure if Burrow would survive past week 5 considering all the sacks and hits he was taking.  The running game was non-existent too.

They are going to need Higgins and Boyd back for the stretch run.  Chase is an excellent WR, but he will be double covered a lot.  With Jackson (and maybe Huntley) out now in Baltimore, I foresee them overtaking the Ravens for that division and earning the 3 seed in the AFC.

Fun fact: Higgins played high school ball in oak ridge, not far from our work office

Another Purdy good game for the Niners last night and made even sweeter by conquering the NFC West with a big win over Seattle on their own field. Things seem to be falling into place at quarterback given the circumstances unforeseen at the start of the season. The playoff picture is clear that all roads are going through Philadelphia.
Go Niners!

I agree.  And honestly even though the Vikings are the 2 seed, they are probably not near as good as their 10-3 record indicates.  They will win the division and host a playoff game in the wild card round.  They could beat a team like the Giants, Commanders, or Seahawks at home but the divisional round will get significantly tougher against a team like SF or Dallas.

I personally think that the Eagles and Cowboys are the two best teams in the NFC.  They play each other in Dallas a week from Sunday.

If Mr. Irrelevant keeps playing the way he is, the Niners will be relevant in the playoffs.

Philly or SF coming out of NFC. Imo

If Buffalo maintains homefield, don't see anyone going to orchard park and coming out with a win, not even Mahomes.

Just for fun, Superbowl prediction ?

Buffalo 27

SF 24

I agree Minnesota will host a playoff game but I think the Niners have a good shot at getting that #2 seed. Those two away games to close out the season in the Black and Blue Division won’t be easy

The Niners are relevant as far as the playoffs go, and as of yet there hasn’t been much drop off in play at quarterback. Kinda interesting how you’re irrelevant until you’re not. A lot of teams are looking at their QB depth chart cause they don’t want to rely on option #2.

And I appreciate your sense of humor @Bird, but I don’t think Buffalo or Minnesota’s Super Bowl drought is gonna change any time soon. And I’m a fan of Josh Allen who can sling it like Jim Kelly back in the day.

I wouldn't count the Bengals out in the AFC.  Could they go to Buffalo and win in inclement weather?  I don't know.  But they went into Arrowhead last season and came back when they were down big at the half.  I didn't think they could do that...until they did.

Allen has been prone to mistakes this season too.  Too many interceptions, especially in the red zone.  The gunslinger mentality has costed them in close games.  Its OK to just try and make a FG instead with one of the better kickers in the league.
