Super User flyfisher Posted October 31, 2022 Super User Posted October 31, 2022 Amazing that no team in the NFC east has a losing record...Eagles are beating who is on their schedule and doing so handily. Commanders won 3 straight, giants took a bad L and the cowboys beat up on a bottom feeding team. Eagles still are the team to beat and I would like nothing more than to see an Eagles Bills Super Bowl. Way too early but that's what fans do.... 1 Quote
Super User Deleted account Posted October 31, 2022 Super User Posted October 31, 2022 It pains me to say this, but the Eagles look really, really good. Quote

I can't stand them or their fan base. They think they're tough sh**. The only decent remaining opponents they have are the Giants twice, the Cowboys, and the Titans. The rest of the schedule is against .500 opponents or worse. They're probably going to finish with only 2 losses or so based on the current projection. 9 hours ago, 12poundbass said: Kind of a rough second half but they got the W I thought Green Bay actually hung in there pretty well in the second half. The outcome of the game was never in doubt, but they forced two INTs and made it a 10 point game. Maybe the Bills were already sandbagging a little too. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted October 31, 2022 Global Moderator Posted October 31, 2022 Bungles have a division game tonight, might be hard to watch it and the World Series at a Halloween party but I’m going to try Quote

I was talking with a coworker and he was thinking the Bills were either sandbagging or trying different things in the second half. One INT Allen threw mid field was open enough to get at least 5+ yards if he ran it. The other one my coworker said they could’ve ran and either gotten a first down or the very least set themselves up for a pretty easy FG. Makes sense, but who knows. There’s no style points in the NFL so a win is a win. 1 Quote

Will do, I just collected some supplies for it at the shop. With what I’ve acquired for $0, I’ll either be the guy from breaking bad, the Michelen man, or a ghost buster 1 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 31, 2022 Author Super User Posted October 31, 2022 Washington won the Super Bowl without a quarterback (Doug Williams) back in 1988. The Titans are another powerful team without a QB. Can it happen again? Derrick Henry is DA MAN! 1 Quote

When they play a high scoring team like KC or Buffalo, they will fall behind and he will become useless. See week 2 Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted October 31, 2022 Author Super User Posted October 31, 2022 Williams only started two games, September 20 at Atlanta and November 23 against the Rams. While both starts were losses, at the end of the season, when the Redskins had qualified for the playoffs, Williams, with his 94.0 passer rating, was chosen as the starter. He led the team to Super Bowl XXII in which they routed the Denver Broncos, becoming the first black quarterback to both play in and win a Super Bowl.[16][17] Doug had the best day of his career in the Big Game. MVP and that was basically the end for him. 1 Quote

Next Sunday night will provide a good measuring stick. They play the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Additionally, they also play at the Eagles on Dec 4. After its all said and done, the Titans will have played the Bills, Chiefs, and Eagles this season. Those are arguably the top three teams in the entire league. Quote
Super User gim Posted November 8, 2022 Super User Posted November 8, 2022 Hey @Darren. I bet you didn't think he Vikings would have a better record than the Bills when they play each other in 6 days. I know I didn't expect it. SKOL Quote

SKOL I’m in the nail biting phase now (figuratively of course) now that Allen has a sore elbow. I read hit shoulder had soreness before Sundays game too. I hope all the wild running isn’t catching up with him. Last time his UCL was acting up he missed 4 games. The video of cousins blinged out with chains, no shirt, and nerd glasses was hilarious BTW. ? 1 Quote

I'm really worried for the Bills this weekend. Whether Josh is fine or not. I do not like how we're playing the last 2 games. Really poor performance for SB "favorites". I still have hope -- IF Josh is fine. If not, I am lost. Injuries were the main thing we were all worried could derail the Bills season. Our secondary is decimated, Poyer injured, Hyde out for season. Gotta get healthy. Physically, mentally. Josh was flushed and his eyes were like deer-in-headlights on the sideline vs. Jets. Jets D balled! Crazy good in that game. Nervous. Yeah, I am. 1 Quote

And my Cousins comment -- more that I'm not a big fan of his, not that I don't respect his ability and the very dangerous Vikings. He's way better than Zach, for sure. I'm thinking the Bills should rest Allen this weekend. Will be best in the long run if the SB is the goal (and it is). 1 Quote
