Super User burleytog Posted May 4, 2010 Super User Posted May 4, 2010 Kevin Short's BassCat is amazing. Quote
TommyBass Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 haha.... that hurts my eyes. Id rather just have it completely the wetlands camo. That or use a more manly color, like blue or green. The pink just dosn't go with it IMO. Quote
GLADES Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 How much would it cost (ball park) to wrap the hull above the rub rail and inside the interior. I have a faded 87 ranger 373 and it would definitely could be a option instead of painting or expensive jell coating. Just curious. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted May 4, 2010 Super User Posted May 4, 2010 Kevin Short's BassCat is amazing. So was his half day catch on Pickwick to secure the win this past Sunday. 23 lbs 5 oz in 5 hrs. Quote

They usually will post them on B B C. I know that's what Ike, Swindle, and a few others do. He is also one of the funniest and laid-back guys to talk to on tour, imo. And is quickly becoming the shallow water cranking guru. Quote
backpain... Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 It is a good thing he has that camo on there, the fish might see him coming. Quote

Five-Alive Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Here is the story behind the color of the boat: http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/fishing/columns/story?columnist=short_kevin&id=3321858 Burley - I see where you are a member of the Wise County Bassmasters, my son will be graduating from UVA Wise next Saturday. He has mostly pond fished at school but has met a lot of nice bass fishermen from the area and has even helped start a Bass Club on campus with the help of the campus police chief who is an avid bass fisherman. There are some good ponds on or near campus. Two behind the new convocation center (one of which has given up at least one 7+ over the last couple of years). Beast and I used to fish those quite often until we caught hell from campus police last spring for putting our jon in. Beast has connections with the chief, got us a note so we could put the boat in, just haven't been back. We used to slay them at night in the upper pond. Quote
Brendan Duffy Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 This wrap is amazing if you're a complete fruit cake. Quote
donmac Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I didn't know Pepto-Bismol sponsored a boat. I'd be proud of my old and ugly brown Ranger parked next to that awful thing. Quote
Sfritr Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Thats the first time I have ever seen a 21 ft bubblegum Fluke.................... Quote
