Never seen a huge striped bass in the area where i fish yet... so i will prob go for size 3000 or 4000 only (I was using a revo ike 30 last time and it was "fine")
And here are the list of option i'm having at the moment
-Daiwa BG Spinning Reel Master 4500
-Okuma Inspira 4000

-Shimano Nasci 4000
-Pflueger President 30

Will pair that reel with a stcroix triumph surf 9 feet

Thank you guys for the help on the last post about striper lure
PS: I know i will still need to clean that reel after usage while i do saltwater fishing :D

Pick. They all seem to be decent reels for what you're doing.

As far as cleaning, I usually take a garden hose to all my equipment that was exposed to salt water. Wipe down with a towel. I have an 18V leaf lower that really get the reels dry, but not necessary. That's just me being anal.

I'd pick a reel with a sufficient line capacity for the pound test line your using just in case you run into one of those big stripers you never see but that are probably lurking right under your bait.

Be prepared!
