Taking your word for it because just sayin that is a pretty insignificant looking creature bait. But then again it has the same essential design as a z hog, which is a deadly bait Gotta make 'em yourself. 3.5" Ultra Molds Sweet Craw. They have an awesome gliding fall when Trigged or used as a jig trailer. Convinced me last year that flapping appendages are WAAYYY overrated on a craw immitation. I burned through a couple hundred of 'em in 21 and had my best year ever. My ARK Tharp King Cobra has one mission in life. Pitch THIS bait into the nastiest cover I can find, and yank bass out of it. All 2021 Sweet Craw victims. 9 Quote
Super User king fisher Posted March 13, 2022 Super User Posted March 13, 2022 Spinnerbait. I can work it slow on the bottom, like a jig with some flash, fast on top like a buzz bait, or anywhere in-between. They are inexpensive, can catch multiple fish without re rigging or replacing, I can change or replace pieces, (skirt, or blades) and I rarely loose one to snags. 3 Quote

Scott804 Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Jerkbait. As long as I can fish it without it getting fouled up, I always feel like I can get bit on it. Even in super low visibility conditions. 2 Quote

That would work, cut it up like a skirt, tie it to shank of the hook, 1/4 oz weight swim it through the water column. Ya ever throw a Snagless Sally with a vinyl skirt? Next ? 2 1 Quote
WVU-SCPA Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Give me a 1/2 oz. lipless and I'll eventually snag a carp/shad/something in any body of water. If it has to be in the mouth, a trd on 1/10oz or lighter. Quote

evo2s197 Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Plastic worm for sure finesse specifically if I had a choice of one only, a lot of ways to fish one, next is a jig, but time and time again if you just need a bite of any kind a finesse worm in a natural color will get you one. Quote

Luke Barnes Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Max Scent general rigged weightless on a wacky rig. I could take it anywhere and have confidence. The other is 1" Gulp Minnows on a 1/64oz jighead under a small slip bobber. That has beat the skunk back more times than I remember. Quote
