Not that I used them, but I actually have an unopened pack of sun perch colored Ozark Trail Hammer Hog soft plastics, but I haven't seen them in store in a long time.

Anyone know if WM stopped making them?

They smell strongly of anise even thru the bag.

I think a lot of that odd ball, uncommon name stuff is eBay and Amazon.

I was in WM last week and they had some Ozark Trail baits in-stock. Im not sure if they had those particular plastics as I was simply scanning over the fishing stuff while waiting on my wife.

I was just wondering.  They show out of stock on the wm website, and I haven't seen any on stores lately.

Interesting point, I hadn’t noticed them missing. I will check again soon, I usually drop in there on my work route to pee

In my local Walmart I see them all the time

I'm not sure they get bought very often though

I've never fish with them because I have too much faith in the Yum Christie Critters

Anyone else ever used them?

I used the hammer hog in sun perch color today to catch two decent fish.  It's post spawn down here, so the fact they hit it is pretty impressive.

First time I ever tried them despite having a bag of them for like a year lol!

The plastic is pretty darn durable I have to say, and it smells of anise despite being in the water for an hour.  Definitely higher quality than I'd expect.

I'd buy another bag if they sold them here, but the only thing I see is "out of stock" and I can't order them.

I've only ever seen them at Walmart. My son and I actually use their hard baits when bank fishing since there's a high risk of losing baits. It saves my more expensive stuff. I just swap the hooks out and they've proven to be just as good as some name brand stuff.

I have not seen the soft plastic Ozark Trail baits at my local Walmarts. They have plenty of Ozark Trail hard baits, except the ones I want the most. Lipless crank baits.

There’s two Walmarts near me, both about 15 minutes away. They both have OT hard baits and soft plastics. Wally suffers from supply chain issues like everyone else, it could just be that they sold out and haven’t gotten any more in yet.

I was looking at batteries in Walmart today and stroll through the fishing section. Ozark trail was well represented

Those baits are on clearance here in town I went to one in Lexington and paid 1.00 to 1.50 per bag. The only color hammer hog they had was black and blue.

I recently bought a black popper that I'll give to my wife and a couple bags of their stickbaits in black blue flake or something like that. The stickbaits worked well and I've looked for them again each time I went but they're never there. Both were around $2.50 or so. Mine is still carrying quite a few styles of soft plastics but not the sticks.

I was in my local Walmart a few weeks ago and they are still selling for full price but after reading this thread I’m going to check and see if my local store is clearing them out. I will say I see quite a few people saying they change out the hooks on the hard baits but I’ve never had any issues with them being that they are Eagle Claw hooks. If nothing else I’ll fish them until they’re dulll and then swap them out, but to each their own.

Since Toby Keith bought Luck-e-Strike, I wouldn't be surprised if Ozark Trail eventually went away.

I forgot Toby purchased luck e strike.  'Whiskey for my men, and beer for the bass' I guess.
