Super User DitchPanda Posted March 9, 2022 Super User Posted March 9, 2022 I've never thrown a weighted wacky rig but looking thru tackle warehouse got me wondering...what's your go to head for weighted wacky rigs? Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted March 9, 2022 Super User Posted March 9, 2022 Owner's is great. Light wire but holds up to giants if you have your drag set correctly. Also like the Gamakatsu but if they're both available I'll take the Owner every time. Quote
EWREX Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 another vote for the owner ultrahead wacky jig head. one of the stickiest hooks i’ve ever fished Quote
GetFishorDieTryin Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Owner or Zappu work really well. I like the G finesse design but they really cost. Haven't tried the Berkley heads yet, but I bet they work really well. Quote
Super User Deleted account Posted March 9, 2022 Super User Posted March 9, 2022 Went out yesterday to a local spot I'm fairly familiar with carrying only one rod (6'6" Med/Fast) 14 lb mono and one chatter, and one spinnerbait, and nothing else, not even replacement trailers, got 10 between 1 1/2 and 3 lbs in a little over 2 hours, my Jansport will get over it I hope... Super User Team9nine Posted March 9, 2022 Super User Posted March 9, 2022 Jackall, but I’ve also caught a ton just using my regular mushroom heads for that application. Quote
uglyasheck Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 Woo Wacky Jighead is the best to me. The weed guard actully works and i have had good hook up ratio. It will hang up but not near as bad. as some of the others. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 11, 2022 Global Moderator Posted March 11, 2022 I've had good luck with the Berkley Fusion heads. Quote
fantasy19 Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Gamakatsu G-Finesse Series Wacky Jig Head Quote
Super User WRB Posted March 11, 2022 Super User Posted March 11, 2022 Jackall weedless wacky jig is all I have used, see no reason to change. Tom 1 Quote
