You just mentioned cover and structure focused . didn't know if you had any particular baits you use for search baits for around cover/structure specifically.  Are you still using squarebill/spinnerbait or are you referring more to pitching/flipping a jig or creature bait?

There are lots of different types of cover and structure .Lets just take a brush pile for example . A spinnerbait , buzzbait , texas rigs and jigs are my main lures . They work perform well in brush .

Ok cool thanks!  That makes sense. 

 

I wonder what time of year/weather pattern people feel most confident they are going to have a good day. I would have thought prespawn...but from reading a lot of these comments...that may not be the case
