Way north bass guy Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 For a real tough bite, it’s pretty hard to beat a 2-3” tube in some sort of natural colour on a light jighead. Been a fan of original Berkley power tubes for a while now, but recently got a bunch of Maxscent tubes for just such an occasion. Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted March 4, 2022 Super User Posted March 4, 2022 Ned (MF style) and/or a tiny black marabou/synthetic/hair jig have both proven to be as close to 100% year-round for me as I can get. Quote

Super User soflabasser Posted March 4, 2022 Super User Posted March 4, 2022 My favorite lure to catch a bass are topwaters so I would say I feel very comfortable catching bass on topwaters. Quote

Big Hands Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 October through March: Carolina rig on a 4' leader with a 4" Keitech Swing Impact in Electric Shad. April through September: 5" Senko in #297 weightless & wacky with little or no breeze, on a dropshot if the breeze is too strong to fish weightless. Quote

schplurg Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 So far it's something different every year, except for that whole 100% thing. T-rigged worm has done me well, except when it doesn't. 2 Quote

I don't think I have one lure that will 100% produce no matter what, but it's a rare day I can't trigger a bite on a lipless or a senko. 1 Quote
Super User Bankc Posted March 4, 2022 Super User Posted March 4, 2022 Charteuse and black Norman Fatboy. If they don't bite that, you need to wake up, because you're having a nightmare. Quote

Bassbum1016 Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 The question is seasonal for example, I am 100 percent positive I will catch them on hair as soon as the ice melts probably a higher percentage than that if that is possible……. Quote

DaubsNU1 Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Used to be a white power-grub on a lead-head. This past year the go-to has been a pumpkin green NED rig. Hard to argue with success.... Quote
