Micheal Rene Spiering Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 What are the odds of St. Croix making a two piece version of the Victory spinning rods? I see that most other series of rods have one available. I'm interested in the Victory but a two piece is a much easier sell for me. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 2, 2022 Global Moderator Posted March 2, 2022 I would contact them and ask? St Croix is usually very good at responding to questions. 1 1 Quote
Vilas15 Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 I would say very low. Their higher end or bass focused lines dont seem to offer 2 pieces since lots of bass fishermen seem to be against them. (Legends, mojo, bass x). The 2 pieces are found in premier and avid, plus saltwater lines. The victory seems to be bass focused so I wouldn't get your hopes up. Ive got a 2 piece premier that Ive had zero issues with an havent taken apart in years. Sensitive enough to catch a 13" walleye short striking a stinger hook this fall in 30' of water but ask about it here and some will tell you its junk. Quote
Super User Boomstick Posted March 2, 2022 Super User Posted March 2, 2022 I would contact them and ask, but at that price point I would not expect to see a 2-piece rod. 1 Quote

I have a two piece mojo, they also have two piece in the legend elite, avid and premier. 1 Quote

Youre right there is 2 piece mojos. I was wrong about that one. The legend elite is another non-technique/species specific line similar to the avid and premier so that doesnt surprise me. I was referring to legend tournament bass. 1 Quote
Micheal Rene Spiering Posted March 2, 2022 Author Posted March 2, 2022 How do the avids compare to the victory? Quote

Micheal Rene Spiering Posted March 11, 2022 Author Posted March 11, 2022 Think I am going to bite the bullet and go with a 7'3" Medium Extra Fast, anyone have this rod? How does it balance with the reel you have on? Thinking about pairing with a 2500 Tatula LT or Ultegra Quote

I think I would prefer the longer rods for casting distance. Right now I have a Medium Fast 7ft Tatula Spinning rod that is my main "do most things" rod. Any suggestions or experience with the victory spinning rods would be appreciated. Quote
