Installed a lithium battery for cranking and running electronics, power poles, etc. battery is blue tooth. Since install graphs do not show tracking correctly, and power poles will not work together most of the time. One power pole will not link up at all to the graph on front of boat. Wondering if the blue tooth from battery is interfering with power poles and graphs, has anyone else experienced any thing like this? Every thing worked fine until replacing battery.

graphs are HDS12’s, if it matters

I would trace everything and clean and redo all the connections first . Then, I would call all my friends and ask them what the &@!%#= is going on haha

What battery did you install?  Brand and mH rating.

Does the battery crank the motor?

Your problem is perplexing.  I've never heard of bluetooth devices interfering with each other but that doesn't mean it can't happen.  You could check this by hooking up the old battery but leaving the new one on the boat and connected via bluetooth.  If it is a bluetooth problem then you would see that same problems with the old battery connected.

I would tend to think it's a voltage problem.  Your new battery could have a bad cell or something.  Can you check the voltage of the battery?

If it’s a brand new lithium then it should be higher than that. Did you charge the battery before you put it in?  Most are shipped at 50% charge or so.

13 should be fine............IF  IF  ...........it stays at 13 when you operate the poles or several items at the same time................Do NOT try the starter with no water covering the the lower unit water inlet !! can wear out the pump impellor  quickly.

LiFeP04 12V / 125 A battery/requires a Specific lithium battery charger rated 100-170 Amps. I assume you knew this when purchasing the battery.

Put the old battery back in.  If everything works, then you know it's a battery problem.  Otherwise, it's probably a wiring problem.  Something might have gotten jiggled loose when you switched them, and you're not making a solid enough connection somewhere for the full amperage to conduct.

Also, check the specs for the battery.  I've seen some lithium batteries with fairly low max output currents.  I would think, if it's a starting battery, this shouldn't be an issue.  But it's good to double check.

It would be a good idea to check the voltages when running the power poles and stuff, both at the battery and at the power poles.  Use a DMM meter.  Don't rely on what the Bluetooth says.
