It will not! The Curado is a whole new platform. I have 2 here and just tried it.

What are you trying to do?

I’m not really wanting the curado 150hg cause it’s green on the side plates. I know the new curado is on platform but I would prefer the grey 70 with the 150 size spool.

I’m still gonna get the curado 70 still. What do you use your 70 for though?

I just sold my last 70 MGL yesterday actually. When I did have them the only thing I used them for was flipping, pitching and punching though.

The line capacity of the 70 really limited it for me. And as you mentioned the colors of the 150 MGL ruined it IMO.

The 200k has similar looks to the 70 but the weight is an issue for me.

If purely color is of concern, go with the Curado K 200. All stealth black aside from spool and tension knob.

I was all geared up to get the 150 until I saw it in hand, in person. Wasn’t a fan. Saved a few bucks, went with the Curado K, and prefer the look.

I'm all set to order a 150 MGL... The pictures seem to look OK? What was it in person that threw you off?

It was the green tint. You have to see it in person. Was not a fan at all. Wish they did all black instead.

Id definitely prefer all black too.
Or at least all black accents with the green. I think the black/green/silver kind of throws me off.

that said, I may over look it, because this seems to be a really Big Bang-for-buck reel.

Here they are next to each other, and the 70 and 150 spool next to each other where you can see that the braking system is different. You get 4 brakes on the 70 vs 6 on the 150.

After fishing all 3 of them I can say that the 150 is definitely the Goldilocks size. It is just barely larger than the 70 and manages to be just a bit lighter - mainly due to a "plastic" star drag and more metal machined out of the handle.

Colorwise... I dig it. I like the green tint that only really comes out under direct sunlight. Looks good on the IMX-PRO, but not as good on the Zodias for example.
