Have an oldish Daiwa Tatula Type R that’s probably due for some service…wondering if anyone in the forums here specializes in Daiwa reels?

No personal experience but The Tackle Trap seems to have a good reputation

I've bought from them. About to make a 2nd purchase, actually. Haven't used them for servicing as of yet, but their retail end is exceptional.

In the grand scheme of things there’s nothing in the Tatula that a competent tech can’t handle. I’ll be happy to help you if you wish. You can click my logo and go to my site for a work order form containing our address and send at your convenience or you can take advantage of our new reservation service by contacting us for a date. Thanks

DVT has handled several of my reels now and Mike has done a great job. Only downside for me is the cost to ship both ways. That’s what I get for living where I do, I suppose!
