Hello all,

I’ve notice the BPS spring fishing classic 2022 starts in March and was wondering if anyone has a leak to the sale AD so I can start writing up my wishlist lol ? ***Bait Monkey ? is telling me too*** Trust me my money will be spent well on wishlist!

Even though I've been gone for years, I still have friends at BPS. They probably haven't received anything yet on sale items. When I was there, we got about a weeks notice to make signage and prepare for staging items.

That makes sense. Sometimes it’s leaked probably not supposed to be. Maybe next week it’ll get posted. I usually get a flyer in mail.

Nothing worth a snot except for the Trilene 100% as usual.

Let's keep it on topic about the sale items and not opinions about BPS/Cabela's please.

I wanted to tell everyone that @Steve-Din another forum on here found the flyer as probably leaked online. Looks legit and not bad sale. Wouldn’t say it’s the best but def decent.  Link below:

Yikes! My antivirus gave me a threat warning when I clicked on this.

The deals stink. I would rather support some of the site sponsors.

It’s generous even calling them “deals”

The BPS reels sale price is the same as the regular price last year due to inflation. Still I might trade an old spinning reel in and use my points and get a Curado.

What lures are you all looking at picking up? Not too crazy about any of the deals this year but I might go up and do a rod trade-in and pick up a few lures. Or any other "must haves?"

I've made a list of items: the XPS Super Shallow Crank is the primary one I'm looking at.  Its the closest lure to having the action of the old discontinued Storm Subwart that I've found, and when you buy 5 they come to $3.59 each.

Also, I'll be buying Sufix 832 braid which is $3 off per spool.

I'm leaning towards trading in an old Abu rod and upgrading it to a St Croix with their trade in value towards a new purchase.

Lastly, while I'm shopping around for an hour, I have about 6 reels that I need re-spooled on their electric tornado line winder for the upcoming season.

I have a 3 year old son that loves to look at the mountain of animals too.

Hit the Spring Classic this morning.

  • St. Croix Mojo Bass 7'1" MHF casting rod
  • Shimano Curado K 7.4:1 baitcaster
  • Two 30 packs of Yum Dingers (black/blue, green pumpkin)
  • Bass Pro AM24 Inflatable PFD (so I can keep on with kayak and another with boat)

I'll probably go back and buy a few crankbaits and other lures, but thats enough damage for 1 day. ?

I already had the exact same setup but 7'1" MF. You'll love it.
