Anybody seen one of these? Own one?

I am looking for a light spinning reel from Daiwa this time and this one caught my eye.  I like the weight and the specs. I was considering going with a Certate LT or the Luvias LT.  I will be putting this on a G. Loomis NRX+ 821S NRR and I wanted something made for finesse.  I also looked at the Exist but it is a little out of my price range for this set up, even the JDM version if you can find one.

Thanks for any advice.

Well, the Emeraldas air would match the nrx nicely.  My only gripe would be that the xh gear(6.2) holds 150m of  6lb line....a little more than I want for 6lb.  80-100yds is perfect.  Is this aluminum or zaion framed?

I haven’t heard of the frame material or design but here you go.

Zaion frame.... after some further reading.

I went ahead and ordered one. I hope it's as good as I think it will be. Oddly enough I found some info on it and it turns out that this reel is used for squid ?.

I have the Emeraldas Air LT3000S-CHX.  I bought it because it looked like it would go nicely with the Belieze Blue color on the SCIV Inshore.  Spoiler alert......it does.  I haven't finished the rod yet, so I haven't even spooled it up.  I think I may turn an acrylic knob to match the reel seat insert and fighting butt.

Looking at getting one of these - how have you been liking it?

I like it. It's feather light. I have had no issues with it. Overall a fun reel but I would say it's not the most practical. I have been using it for drop shot and light finesse stuff.  Depending on what you are going to do with it, I would also look at the Shimano Vanquish. Overall it's a better reel.

I bought the Emeraldas because I wanted a Daiwa that was different from the other Shimano spinning reels I have and I wanted it to be light weight. I also just wanted something that was fun and different from everything else. This reel definitely scratched that itch.
