zelmo Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 About 15 years ago I got some of these jigs but the packaging is long gone. I don't remember the brand. It is small - maybe 1/8 oz and the head design slows down the fall. Anybody have a clue to the brand? I only have one left and would like to get more. Quote
HaydenS Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 Deps Matsuraba swim jig https://www.bassmaster.com/slideshow/top-lures-st-johns-2022#slide29 looks like this, pic 30? Similar but not exact. 1 Quote

Similar but not exact. Not likely. The only thing those 2 jigs have in common is a dimple on the head, and even those are different. Love the TV antenna weed guards on the OPs though... Quote

Yeah, I just looked through all the jigs on TW, and it’s not on there. I remembered seeing the Japanese jig, so figured I could drop that if he can’t find the exact one, that one is similar. Quote
zelmo Posted February 16, 2022 Author Posted February 16, 2022 Thanks. For some reason I was thinking it was Buckeye but if that is accurate it has been discontinued. Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted February 16, 2022 Super User Posted February 16, 2022 Original Bass Stalker jigs were very similar with the concave flat stand-up head and were very popular on various online forums, but are also now discontinued. 2 Quote
zelmo Posted February 16, 2022 Author Posted February 16, 2022 I started looking for a replacement several years ago and the closest I came up with is the Pepper Custom Baits Micro Jig. The head is not concave but the profile is close. I guess what is important is that I seem to catch just as many fish on them. 1 Quote

Boss makes a skipping head with a similar shape, but angle of the hook is completely different. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted February 18, 2022 Super User Posted February 18, 2022 Bass stalker is my guess. They were bought by Uncle Josh. Allen 1 Quote
