storage system DIY Large Swimbait Storage System

I made this for my Huds and larger swimbaits, So they will not be deformed while stirring and transporting. I could make more hangers and put more in the box, But I didn't want the stinger hooks make a problem for me. I am so happy with this systems, Very easy to remove and put back.

I  have one just like that, only smaller. Got mine from Tom, that stores my 6" Hudds that I bought from him.

I have one small ones I got from him but the system is different in that one, I use that for my smaller swimbaits as well. But this one I built for larger huts and swimbaits.

 

as you can see this one is harder to remove larger baits from it, but it is compact and can be use in emergency.

We use DIY pvc tubes in a milk crate for large striper lures.

Nice system - This was the original ‘big lure’ system “back in the day” - the giant styrofoam cooler without lid - lol

This works too for at home storage. Hook bonnets keep staggering drunks and old folks from getting velcro'd to the wall.

I had one like that but switched to wraps a couple years ago because they always tangled and I kept getting stuck reaching for baits.

I’m a sucker for organization. This is awesome. My dad has so much tackle, I don’t even know how much, I wish he would organize it like this (not just so I could raid his stash haha)

That looks like a hanging file box, I’m sure there’s a way to rig it up so that the bars could slide to make access easier.
