snake95 Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 I recently discovered I had a Vertias 2.0 7-6 MH rod in my collection that had been forgotten. There is a newer version now. It seems to be more of a HF in hand - emphasis on the F. I would think it would work as a jig and worm rod, or maybe flipping. Seems to be too fast for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. If you have one, interested to hear what you are using it for. Quote
KP Duty Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 It's a pitchin' stick. Spool up some 15-20lb line and pitch whatever tickles your fancy. 1 1 Quote
Super User T-Billy Posted February 14, 2022 Super User Posted February 14, 2022 I'm with KP Duty. I have that rod, and it was always a pitchin stick for me. Definitely on the stout side for a MH. 1 Quote
