Fishfinder & a Trolling motor on same battery?

I'm purchasing a fishfinder for a crawdad jon boat. I run a minkota 30lb trolling motor to get around.

Can I run the fishfinder on the same battery or should I get a small portable 12v?

Yes, I've done it for 30+ years. IF you get interfence ( which I doubt with that motor ) you can always do the separate battery thing.

I run my trolling motor, fish finder, submersible lights, Sirius radio, and livewell pump on the same battery with no problems.
