IrishJig Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 I like to see Sprague make a run above the cut line. Quote

EWREX Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 looks like i'll be buying a few berkley half head jigs for ned rigs since i know they can handle an 8 pounder with proper drag and handling without bending the hook out ? 1 Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted February 9, 2022 Super User Posted February 9, 2022 Another biggun for Wheeler Wow, Wheeler's best 5 go 32-1 and Lee's go 32 even I will say it again DINK FEST!!!!! 2 Quote
Ski Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Wheeler 6.5 ... 51 min left. "The best day of pro fishing I have EVER had" 2 Quote
ryanerb Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Wheeler is doing some magic with his electronics. He's a step ahead of the rest of the field with his electronics. He knows them. Even Jordan Lee admitted he wasn't that comfortable with front facing sonar. Jacob has his front facing DIALED and understands it probably as good or better than anyone on tour. I think it's helped him win quite a bit. He probably gets local info during his research stage, I think he's just taking everything to the next level. KVD is a legend, but Wheeler sure is shining these days. What I also love is that JLEE is getting them on a ned, wheeler on a jerkbait. This proves they can be caught different ways, it's not always about the bait. It's about the location, presentation, etc etc. And maybe a little bit of luck haha 3 Quote

Hawkeye21 Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 All the BASS fanboys should be enjoy this tourney. It's been quality over quantity. Wheeler was averaging almost 5lbs a bass. 1 Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted February 9, 2022 Super User Posted February 9, 2022 That was fun. Mr Jones pulled it out. EE is very hurt Tomorrow looks decent but without the wind they had this morning Generally sunny. High 72F. Winds light and variable. Might be an Early & Late bite again In the home gym and then I'll be watching. A-Jay 3 Quote

A-Jay At least there will be tons of heavy cover at bussey for the fish to hunker in if there is no wind... maybe it will all pan out? 2 Quote

I just like one format better than the other 1 Quote
GReb Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 Think you’re going to see a lot of plastics tomorrow Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted February 10, 2022 Super User Posted February 10, 2022 Let's make a prediction for the winner. Sorry I posted this so late, just now winding down. I will take J Lee. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted February 10, 2022 Super User Posted February 10, 2022 Not really sure if Bussey Brake 'sets up' for any one of todays anglers in particular. I expect to hear the twang of braided line a few times. But with all things being equal, seems hard to bet against J Wheeler. So I won't. I'll say Wheeler with a Bandito Bug . . . Should be fun either way A-Jay 1 Quote
Super User Tennessee Boy Posted February 10, 2022 Author Super User Posted February 10, 2022 I’m not sure what to make of Bussey Brake. I don’t think I’ve ever fished anything like it. I’ll go with Randy Howell. Maybe his experience fishing Guntersville’s grass will give him an edge. Quote
Ski Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 Todays lineup @ 0845 CT.. I'll go with B. Thrift. Quote
