Super User fishfordollars Posted April 9, 2010 Super User Posted April 9, 2010 Trying to pick a spot. The unit is going on the console, and I need feedback, pro and con, as to where to mount it. Was thinking about in the rod locker in front of the console or up under the console. Any problems with the installation or activation? Thanks for the help guys. jack Quote
I Love BassResource Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I mounted the LSS1 on the bottom of my jackplate, in the center of my rig. I mounted the networking box inside my driver side rod locker, I can put it in the flush, out of the way and its always dry. Running the cables were a pain for me, but other than that installation was a breeze. You'll hear people scuff at the extra networking box, but the benefits are pretty incredible if your using two units. Quote
Todd Driscoll Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Jack, either place you mention will work, but I prefer the rod locker. Quote

I was wondering about the electrical box. Thanks for the help. Quote
