Can someone help identify what brand jig this is? It’s a finesse jig that Jacob Wheeler was throwing in a MLF Cup event in Texas…

The reason I ask is I am having trouble locating a brown matte finesse jig like this…

The Keitech’s are great jigs, super compact for the weight.  I lucked out with a lot of them on ebay a few years ago and get sad whenever I lose one.

Neither tackle warehouse or Keitech directly offers that jig in a matte or flat brown skirt.. Did he use the Keitech jighead and put a custom skirt on it? It appears to be a brown skirt with green pumpkin craw trailer which would closely imitate crawfish..

I’d bet it’s just the dark green Pumpkin model even tho it looks brown in the pic

Is it just me tho? Or does it not look matte black jighead, plain brown skirt, dark green pumpkin trailer?

I think the skirt looks like a green Pumpkin - it looks like all the heads are black on this model.

They use a matte finish on the V2 casting jigs.  That way theres no paint to chip.  The color is dark green pumpkin which is essentially brown with small black flake.  I think the jig is actually the version 1 jig which has a painted head and I think the keeper may only have 1 barb and not 2 like version 2 I mentioned.

Lol - I already did - hence my initial reply :wink7: He put me on them (Keitech CJs) a couple years ago. The color thing I believe is just a function of a poor quality picture, lighting and reflection. It's a hand-tied skirt, so I don't believe he is cutting the originals off and retying them with a different skirt color/material.

Thank you so much… Def a new jig combo that will be added into the arsenal. Tell Jacob I said thank you and good luck this year!
