No heavy cover and up to 1/2 oz jigs, the MH will work fine.

I do not have any of the 3 you ask about but I have the Champion XP DC735C FH which is a excellent jig rod.  When I look on the Dobyns site to see what the difference is I did not see it in the Champion series but in the Kaden series. The Kaden rod is a inch longer & uses a different brand of guides. Knowing the quality of Dobyns Rods( I have 17 & 2 more being delivered later today) I would recommend the Kaden Rod.

In the interest of good and easy casting I would go with the rod whose lure weight recommendation best matches what I intend to throw.

If Barnes and Nobles sold rods, you'd find them in the fiction section, most in the comedy isle...

I fish jigs with both a MH and H.  Either is fine.  Rarely is there a good reason to choose one over the other.  Though if I had to pick, I'd go with the MH.  It has a bit more give for pitching lures, and pinning fish in close combat.  And you can still fish a MH in thick cover, though a H would work better in that situation.

I use a MH but I don’t fish heavy cover really. In the rare event that I am (and around me heavy is just thick vegetation), I will use the H. My MH rod which I use for jigs is rated up to 1 oz. So a 1/2 oz jig + trailer + skirt + weedguard is still fine for the rod to handle. I suggest that your rod’s rating be in line with what you’re throwing and that’s it, unless you have a reason to step up to a H.

I've never had the need for a heavy jig rod, I'll take a 7 or 7-1/2MH any day.

I'm not sure that the current Zodias MH is the same, but an order model was quite a powerful rod for a MH. It had enough power to handle some pretty decent cover.

Either way in the absence of cover, I would go with the MH.

Big difference in power rating between Shimano and Dobyns.

Action Fast or Xfast makes a big difference in ease of casting, another consideration.

Reel seat and guide train type matters how the feels in your hand, balance is important. How you hold the rod, Dobyns doesn’t have a comfortable reel locking rind in my hand.

Line you use, braid / leader micro guides are a PITA.

My preference for a jig rod is 5 - 6 power Fast.

Kaden 745C if comfortable in your hand.

i throw most of my jigs on a daiwa tatula 7'1 heavy specified "jig" rod. it definitely fishes more like a medium heavy in my personal opinion

I use a Kaden 715C for the bigger and heavier sizes and a 7’1” Tatula MH/XF for the smaller and lighter
Both do the job nicely

You don’t If you feel the line your are lost, when I can’t feel line movements I am lost, the rod can only deaden line feed back.

And the 7'3" Tatula MH/F for up to an ounce.

I’m using the Expride 7’2 MH in light to medium cover right now… laydowns, docks, light grass. Works great for 1/4-3/8. If you throw 1/2oz a lot, maybe look at the 7’2 H. Zodias line is good too for less $$$

I have the Kaden 745 and that is what I use it for us jigs.  Mainly football head jigs but will use a flipping jig on it also!  Very light and sensitive, your arm won't get tired holding it if you are flipping a jig all day or dragging a football head jig!  I haven't used the others you mentioned.

I use a og tatula 7’2 heavy. I like to be able to snap my jig out of the grass.

Personally, I'm partial to the Champion XP Jig Special 744C. Extra Fast action makes a huge difference.
