Cooper Kupp can’t be stopped. Literally every play is to him now.

Matthew Stafford deserves this after having been held back by the Lions for so long

Good run by the bengals, congrats to LA. I just wish the rams would have won against the pats a couple years ago instead of this year

Agreed. And something tells me that this won't be the last time we will see Joe Br-r-r-r compete for a ring either.

That was SUCH a bad call on 3rd and goal.  And the whole Rams line jumped on that play and no flag for false start.

Then it seems they threw flags on every play.

NFC West guys, NFC West

But ya, referee calls were bad all around.  On par for the entire NFL season.  They HAVE to address this chronic problem.

Instant replay created this problem years ago. Now they still miss all the calls even after checking twice

I don’t think it really would have amounted to anything, but it’s wild to see them let those calls go all night then starting making them left and right at the end

I said it in the other thread. The Rams got away with false starts so many times it is unbelievable.

As I said to my brother with the face grab/tackle I’m getting tired of cameras catching the infractions but the referees miss them. I get the fact the referees are human and can’t see everything but stop showing the stuff after the fact.? I for one am tired of seeing these kind of infractions making the difference either way and costing one of the teams the game. I realize in the end it didn’t matter but at the time and as others have pointed out their are quite a few missed calls on the field but not missed by the cameras. ?Thinking maybe it’s time for some evaluation in the officiating of the game. I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts.

The officials are held to an impossible standard - they get a split second to see and decide on a penalty from one angle while also doing a myriad of other things, and then the announcers and viewers can pick it apart in 360 degrees forever. Then there’s no recompense for wrong calls and that just bleeds into the frustration. I thought these guys did a good job of not throwing any flags until the last couple minutes and then it got silly.  I think they should let them play a little more outside of the safety issues with things like targeting and lowering the head on hits.

Decent game to watch.

Being an NFL Referee and now Replay Official,

must be the single hardest job in the world,

as side from Forecasting the weather of course.

Because for the years and years I've been watching games,

They just never seem to get it right.

And then there's the publics outcry & perhaps even backlash after some of these deals.

Takes a special kind of human to sign up for this ride . . . .

Clearly not one I'd pick.

It was forecasted to be the greatest halftime show in Superbowl history.......I respectfully disagree.

The game was pretty entertaining until the refs demanded the spotlight.

Congrats to Aaron Donald and the Rams.

Exactly.  None of us can sit here and say that they should have called this, not called that, etc when it all happens at full speed in seconds.  The facemask penalty on Ramsey to start the second half was a blatantly missed call and for a long time I thought it was going to decide the outcome of the game.  Its easy for all of us and Chris Colinsworthless to claim something was missed when there's 12 HD cameras slowing it down frame by frame.

That being said, there was one season about a decade ago when the referees went on strike and they put back-up officials in there for 3 games.  It was a COMPLETE train wreck.  By week 4, the usual guys in stripes were back on the field with a new contract.

Half time must be for young folks, it was lost time to me.

Yeah, I had it on mute , forgot about it for awhile, looked up , saw what was going on, and turned it off completely…

It was for middle aged folks

 ?? Not this one.

Also , Maybe I’m just slow, but the few commercials I watched I didn’t have any idea what was going on or what they were selling.

Yep I must be getting really old. The half time shows have gotten progressively worse as I age. I switched channels right after it started.

Although none of my picks won a single game in the playoffs, I thought this series was

the best in NFL history!

Congratulations to the Rams and all their loyal fans.

Same here. Did they even have a beer commercial?

I didn’t see one. But I just watched enough of them to realize whatever they were selling, I wasnt buying…

The one with the little man baby was especially bizarre…

They had plenty of beer commercials, Budweiser Clydesdales made an appearance

Even though the team that I was pulling for lost, it was a pretty good game. Absolutely the worst half time show of all time.
