Super User NorcalBassin Posted February 3, 2022 Super User Posted February 3, 2022 Used to be a Destroyer Oneten Special, but when it broke (my fault) they were in the process of discontinuing the rod. Ended up picking up a 610MF Expride and paired it with a Chronarch 50e and 8# Sniper. One of my favorite setups to throw. Quote

Super User DogBone_384 Posted February 3, 2022 Super User Posted February 3, 2022 My #1 is a Kistler 6’9” KLX with a 7.3:1 Tatula SV on top. My #2, for winter, is the same spec’d spinning rod with a 2500 Vanford beneath it. Quote

jimanchower Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 6'10" Expride with an Aldebaran HG spooled with 30# high-viz braid to 8# or 10# mono. I've tried straight fluoro but I like the feel of braid. Daiwa reel (can't remember which) with 10# or 12# fluoro. Quote
RB 77 Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Shimano Chronarch 50E mounted on a Falcon Cara 6'6". Love this setup for Jerkbaits. Quote
HaydenS Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Regular SLX, 7.1:1. Whatever rod comes with the black maxes. 10 pound fluoro or mono, based on whatever is on hand at the time. While this is one of my cheapest combos, I only paid for the reel, but it’s my favorite cause I’ve caught so many jerkbait fish on it! When I’m not fishing, I’ll pick it up and pretend to be throwing a jerkbait for awhile, and think of the fun. Quote
