Jon1970 Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Does anyone know who makes the mounting clips used to hold the transducer wire along the trolling motor shaft? If so how much do they cost and where can I find them? I want to try this instead of using the quick ties. Thanks. Jon Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I just picked up a pack of 20 at my local ACE hardware store for $2.99. Any speaker shop or marine shop will sale them also. Quote
Jon1970 Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 Thanks but that is not what I was looking for. I finally found what I was looking for at Bass Pro Shops. Not sure what they are called but they are made by Mercury and cost around $15 a set. Quote
sacnho Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Jon1970 did you find them on the bass pro site? If so can you post a link to them or maybe a part number? Thanks Quote
Alumabass Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Yes, please, let us know, I just did this yesterday and Iam not real satisfied with the way the wire is run from the trolling motor to the Bird. Quote
Todd Driscoll Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 +1 on the wire ties, clean appearance, functional, and best of all dirt cheap Quote
bass crazy Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 I use the cable ties, inexpensive and then a wrap with duct tape over the tie to keep it smouth and less likely to catch on stray grass and weeds especinaly on the lower ones below the water line. The cable tie and cable tend to rotate around the the trolling motor shaft during use. the tape prevents that also. Quote
