How small can lines & fly tippets get That is what this Geezer needs this May 5 .

Not sure why one would require 2 lb test to catch shiners, but a bunch of folks make it. Ande Tournament is IGFA cert, so that will be fairly thin, and if you run across Moby Shiner, you can get your name in the National Geographic...

Thank you all. A college with F & G Department did a excellent testing of all lines down to 2# test.....Plain old 2# Mono  ( 7 X  )  is the smallest .  That was easy.

Thank you Columbia Craw. they make a 2 pack of 7X.

I will be almost vertical jigging with 6 hooks 1' apart in the mud & marsh weeds.

I am a Sabiki in NY this spring. They allow up to 15 points on any fish line. 

I do have the woven straw hat.   

Life is good.
