Super User Munkin Posted January 21, 2022 Super User Posted January 21, 2022 Been looking for one of these for like 2 years and finally found one last weekend at a show. Had to buy a lot of 25 used spinnerbaits to get it but it was worth it. Allen 2 Quote

Allen Nice, those are indeed rare. Is the Boons Farm 20/20 show on? They canceled Richmond. If You make some of those, I'd be interested in the bodies. Quote

Super User gim Posted January 25, 2022 Super User Posted January 25, 2022 Titanium frames are vastly superior to steel ones. I still have a few of the old terminator ones left, including 4 in the original packaging with some replacement skirts. 1 Quote
fin Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 I saw your post and looked at the picture of the spinnerbait and read the comments, which got me thinking about throwing a spinnerbait when I went out later. I decided to just grab a spinnerbait at random off my rack without looking. Guess what I grabbed? What a weird coincidence. I decided not to throw it after all. A guy that I didn’t even know from another fishing forum gave me lots of tackle, a few rods and reels and other stuff a few years back. This spinnerbait was among that stuff. A lot of the spinnerbaits he gave me were nice, I think several were titanium. The wire finish looks more like blue steel than chrome, and the wire is more flexible. Mine looks a little different than yours. The white split-tail trailer on mine has the word Mann’s on it, so I assume it came on it. Quote

That is a Mann's Titanium wire spinnerbait and they go for big money on Ebay. Question for you, is that oval bead up front plastic or metal? Allen Quote
SC53 Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 To ask a dumb question, how do you know when it’s titanium without the package? Quote

By the color of the wire and the fact that stainless wire Manns Classic baits are twisted eye except for the Titanium ones. I am also guessing that is a 1/4oz bait based on the blade sizes. Terminator had a big problem with their crimps failing on their Ti spinners. Quote
