TcRoc Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Apparently Invizx doesn’t give u all memory issues . Quote
GoldenBear44 Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 When I meet a old man fishing in Viet Nam he had a soda can as his bait caster mounted on stick. He would throw his worm out then put line in V notch at end of stick. He told me number #1 was the line not soda can the line was wound on or stick. He showed the line is what’s between him and fish. So Tatsu is my choice. 1 Quote

Expect to get what I paid for, but for $10 I couldn't not try it... Checking back in after some field testing... The 15# Basix is impressive for $10. It handles well and lays well on the spool. Did the real world break test (aka got it hung) and when it finally broke it was at the knot. Tied a jig on it and swung on a bunch will no issue. Have had it around wood, but not a lot of rock. At that, no real sign of frays or damage. Pleasantly surprised. 5 Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted May 6, 2022 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted May 6, 2022 I've had the same experience. Very impressed with BasiX! 2 Quote
ErieCan Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 Their Salmon and Trout leader material is great and one of the best deals going for true leader line. Quote
Schuyler co Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 I picked up some Basix for my jig rod based on the good reviews and price. Long story short I lost 3 jigs on hook sets yesterday, all knot slipping. I tie the fluorocarbon knot a lot of people use, not sure the name, Swindle, Zona and others have videos on it. NEVER had an issue with it. I’ll give you I could’ve tied 1 bad knot but not 3. Back to Abrazx for bottom contact and Invizx. 1 Quote
Kelvin Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 Tatsu wins hands down. Fishing in South Florida I learned most of the time fish not just bass are line shy. We get heavy pressure and FL strain are rather picky. The same goes in saltwater too. Snook are notorious at avoiding thick intrusive leaders. Quote
