I've tried AbrazX, InvizX and Tatsu...the 1st and last being gifted to me from a generous member here.

AbrazX was a bit too stiff for my tastes - it's been relegated to leader material on my 40# and 50# braid rigs...when I use a leader anyway.

Tatsu - 'Oh My!' ... if I could afford it, I'd make this my FC line of choice, unfortunately my budget doesn't allow it.

InvizX - based on comments here, I picked up a couple spools. If it isn't Tatsu on my reel, it's gotta be InvizX. Handles well even on my spinning rigs.

This about sums it up. Pretty much the only two I need. In the rare instance I need excess abrasion resistance, I go TORAY.

Lol - getting very difficult to find any longer. May need to start looking for a replacement - or just go braid in that one instance.

I use InvizX and another that has not been mentioned yet, Seaguar Blue Label.

I am a sunline sniper user and recently gave invizx a try.  I have been impressed so far.
Red label was strong but manageability was bad, tatsu was manageable but seamed a little too “soft” for my liking, but invizx seems just about right.  I will certainly try it on a few more rods this year.

Spinning reels - Tatsu (6- 8 lb)

Baitcasters - Invizx (12- 15lb)

I use Invizx the most.

I have a couple spools of Basix coming.  Expect to get what I paid for, but for $10 I couldn't not try it...

That's the way I have been doing it for the last several years.  All are great lines but put together with the right gear and tackle, they show their true potential.

They are not magic wands but tools for the job.

I use Tatsu for bass fishing and I love it. (I use InviZX for trout fishing and I love it).

Seagaur Tatsu FC is good line, considering you get 200 yard filler spools the cost per yard is competitive to Sunline Shooter.

Toray comes in several class, like Seaguar and Sunline does. Blackwater Int’l was the importer I used in the early 2000’s Starting with Bass Super Hard Toray FC. The price started at $35 for 164 yard filler spool and stayed that price for 83 yard filler spool. I really liked the Bass Super Hard with it’s blueish color, good casting with low memory and decent knot strength. But the price doubled and cost per yard exceeded Tatsu why?? continue?

Invizx if I decide to buy it. I remember when i first started using it is was like $13. Now it’s like $22 locally. I also use only 6# test.

I think it’s probably been about 7 years since I used it. I love it but I know my fishing environment and how fast I can go through line from break offs in the rip rap and other snag break offs from the shore. It’s just simply not cost effective.  For that same $22 I can get about 3 times as much mono. Hence, my primary line is mono.

As for tatsu, I can’t count how many times I’ve walked into the shop thinking I’m going to buy it, then I see the price tag and get smacked down to reality and choke like a batter with full count and bases loaded.

Same here.  I like InvizX and will buy it if I see a good sale, but honestly I like Red Label just as much and can find good deals on it all the time. I have never had any issues running it as a leader.

I can't discern any performance difference between Invisx and Abrasx.  I use whichever is cheaper....usually Invisx.

If you are okay with the price, Tastsu stands above the rest.

Otherwise, I like AbrazX for baitcasting tackle and InvizX for

spinning gear.

Another tip: buy the 600 yard or 1000 yard spools for the least

amount of initial memory. I apply KVD Line & Lure Conditioner

to everything.

Out of those choices only Tatsu.

I use Sunline’s product line the vast majority of the time.
