What’s your take on the app? I recently added the sports package to my Spectrum account but I don’t have DVR and the fishing shows aren’t on demand. I thought about dumping the sports package and getting the MOTV app. My question, can you watch past episodes of say Zona’s awesome fishing show, Linder’s angling edge, and so on? I used to have quite library of fishing shows when we had Dish now I’m left with nothing.

What say you?

Get it... you will have access to all the shows past and present. I cancelled a bunch of subscriptions while paying off some debt last year so I don't currently have MOTV, but I used to love watching ALL of Zona's awesome fishing show episodes on loop in the background while working from home... In fact, it may be time to resubscribe ?

Thanks for the replies. I’m going to give it a shot.

Follow up question: I’m new to tv apps and streaming stuff. I know the tv in the living room is a smart tv so no issues there, is there a way to watch MOTV and others on non smart tv’s like in my bedroom?

Check out a Roku device if your tv has a port for it. It might bridge the gap if your tv isn't too old technology wise.

I would imagine you could run it off your laptop or tablet and hook that up to the dumb tv with the appropriate cable.

I'd be interested in how you like the app. I'm about ready to get on the streaming bandwagon and MOTV would be one I would be interested in.

I use a FireTV stick (just requires HDMI port and wifi connection)... or you can do as someone mentioned and connect your laptop to the tv via HDMI

You can watch it via any web browser too by logging into the MOTV website.

For a non-smart TV; if you have an HDMI port you can use a Firestick, there's a MOTV app you can load.

To echo others here my MOTV subscription is definitely worth it. You won’t get CURRENT seasons of shows but you will get past seasons. For non-smart TVs I use an Amazon Firestick. You can get one for as little as $20.

Yikes! I did not know this, how long before current seasons show up?

While I love the access to past seasons, I’m really looking for the new season of certain fishing shows.

I’m not sure how long it takes before new seasons show up on MOTV. My suggestion is subscribe for a month or two and try it out. You can always cancel if it’s not what you had hoped for or expected.
