John Haggerty Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 Folks, I now have a trailer on Lake Isotokpoga. I've been mostly been working on it, so only getting so much time to fish. Now I got time and am looking for suggestions to specific patterns and tackle to get me away from what has been working. The last four months I've been fishing mostly the same. 6" Senkos, 1/2 oz. tungsten, 65# braid and 4/0 EWG. I've been doing fairly well working in the spatterdock, but need to branch out. With the next three months coming up, can you offer a couple of things I might want to try? Thanks in advance, John Quote
Super User geo g Posted January 19, 2022 Super User Posted January 19, 2022 Hollow body frogs, and swimbaits with a #5 gama swimbait hook. There are plenty of big old girls living there, if the grass doesn't go crazy, and they don't spray the place to death. The place can get dangerous on a real windy day. Wished I lived there! 2 Quote

Super User geo g Posted February 22, 2022 Super User Posted February 22, 2022 Had a friend with a home on the lake. He did well on a canal that led to the Kissimmee River, with a HB Frog. Quote
