843C MBR for $125, is there a better rod? I know I saw reviews saying that for $200 there were better options, but is there a better option for $125?

Edit to add: They also had an Evergreen Combat Stick 7’3” Heavy (RCSC-73H). Do you guys think that’s too heavy for 3/8 chatterbaits? It’s rated 3/8-1 1/2.

It’s Tackle Supply Depot that got posted in the sale thread today. They’re local for me so I don’t have to pay the crazy shipping.

Never fished one, but I've fiddled with them at tackle shops. They are light and feel like solid rods. For that price I'd jump on it

For $125, it's worth it.

I did do it ?? I’ll pick it up this week. They also had an Evergreen Combat Stick 7’3” Heavy (RCSC-73H). Do you guys think that’s too heavy for 3/8 chatterbaits? It’s rated 3/8-1 1/2.
