I’m thinking bottom contact baits here but what bait do you use the most and how do you rig it?  I’d be interested in hearing what your preferences are for weights/size and hooks also.

4" Rage Craw on a 3/4" Ounce Football Jig.  That combo is deadly for me but I will admit, I am a football jig addict.

It's also great with a spider skirt welded to it and fished on an Arky or Football jig.

Great read, thanks! You mentioned you're a big fan of the Owner Oval Split ring to the front line tie. May I ask what size and why? Thanks!

That RPE Tungsten head 'moves' a little on the rig used to hold the hook.

On the front, it seems to 'pinch' the area of the knot that comes in contact with the head.  Adding the oval split ring eliminates that.

Size 2 on the 1/2 oz and size 3 on the 3/4

Either a Zoom Baby Brush Hog or an Ultra Vibe Speed Craw. I rig either one on a 2/0 offset shank round bend hook with an 1/8 ounce sinker most of the time. With worms hook size varies depending on the size of the worm.

I like a natural colored tube on a north land tube jig for brown bass on rocks, and a either a wacky rigged stick bait or a Texas rigged plastic worm for largies in the weeds.

10 inch worm, pegged Texas rig.  3/8 tungsten, 4/0 EWG. Or on a 3/8 wobblehead when fishing rocks.

I did an article for Yamamoto titled “78 Ways to Rig a Senko” ?. I have branched out since then but it still ranks as the #1 bait I throw.

You got a link to that?
