ajschn06 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 I’m thinking bottom contact baits here but what bait do you use the most and how do you rig it? I’d be interested in hearing what your preferences are for weights/size and hooks also. 1 Quote

You mentioned you're a big fan of the Owner Oval Split ring to the front line tie. May I ask what size and why? Thanks! That RPE Tungsten head 'moves' a little on the rig used to hold the hook. On the front, it seems to 'pinch' the area of the knot that comes in contact with the head. Adding the oval split ring eliminates that. Size 2 on the 1/2 oz and size 3 on the 3/4 https://youtu.be/S4N47mqfUSA?t=300 A-Jay 1 Quote

Super User Log Catcher Posted January 12, 2022 Super User Posted January 12, 2022 Either a Zoom Baby Brush Hog or an Ultra Vibe Speed Craw. I rig either one on a 2/0 offset shank round bend hook with an 1/8 ounce sinker most of the time. With worms hook size varies depending on the size of the worm. Quote
