Thanks everyone for the great advice!  I just read through all of this and placed an order with some of the recommendations.  Really appreciate everyone taking the time to respond.

Probably one of the top 2 lures that most beginner LM bass fishermen start with (not sure about SM).  It’s forgiving, it can be fished year round in any conditions, and after 70ish years, it still catches fish.
