Does anyone see any issues with this pairing?  I know the MGL excels with lighter baits so I was wondering if the 733c would pair nicely with it or should I take a step down and get a M powered rod?   Typically the Dobyns line are a little softer than their rating and I havent tried the 733c yet, but grabbed one on sale for $90 to have in the arsenal.  Ill be bank fishing, open water, little structure/vegetation for smallies.

30lb braid, tossing lighter spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, paddletails, lighter jigs, etc.

Thanks!

While the Fury 733 is labeled as 'Medium-Heavy', it's line/lure stats are more in line with 'Medium'.

I consider my Fury 703 'Medium-Heavy' as a medium and use it as such.
