I have an XXH Shimano Sojourn Musky 8'6 that doesn't fit in my tiny sedan. I want to cut it in the middle and epoxy in a piece of graphite or carbon stock to make it a 2pc. Is this feasible? Is there a better way? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

Silly human.... You can resist me for awhile, but we both know you will buy another rod, and a new reel for it. Why torture yourself? Just go ahead and buy it. You know you want to.
