lunkerboss923 Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 I have some credit at Dobyns. Help me fill the gap. Pick one rod to add this. Dobyns CHAMPION XP 685CB Jerkbaits, Poppers Dobyns KADEN 735CB Squarebills, Traps, Top Water Dobyns CHAMPION XP 744C Jig and Texas Rigs Dobyns FURY 735C Frogs, Bull Shad Swimbait Dobyns FURY 702SF Dropshot, Ned Rig, neko rig, tubes *Disclaimer...I already own these rods. I'm trying to decide on a 3 power. I think I'm going to splurge on a DX 743C. Quote
lunkerboss923 Posted January 3, 2022 Author Posted January 3, 2022 Little help...I know you have opinions. Let's here them. Quote
Super User FryDog62 Posted January 3, 2022 Super User Posted January 3, 2022 Really like my 734c and it is quite versatile.. swim jigs, spinnerbaits, T-rig, etc. Iconic rod for Dobyns ~ I see you don't have a 742c... I don't either but that may be next for me. Great with plastics - flukes, Caffeine Shads, Tubes, even finesse jigs, etc. A lot of guys I know love that rod! Quote

Super User NorthernBasser Posted January 4, 2022 Super User Posted January 4, 2022 Sierra 734. Micro guides unless you're using a leader. Such an amazing rod for that price point (especially on sale). Quote

Str8BraidPowa Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 (edited) I have several of the same models, and I would say Champion 701 spinning for some fun micro fishing, ned rig, rooster tails, 2.8 keitech's, etc. I keep one in the boat for the slow days, catching dinks and pan fish are better than taking a skunk home.
