Question about boat

I just got done washing and waxing my boat.  But I didnt know if I could wax the engine and the hood. If anyone could tell me if I can wax the hood that would be great.

Yes you can wax the engine and the cowling.

Is the cowling the hood of the motor and can I wax the prop.

Yes, the cowling is the "hood", and don't wax the prop.  Not that it's bad for it, but it just doesn't need it.
