Congratulation,I in other hand, had bad luck, I went fishing for 36 hours and I fished 21 hours of it and I didn't catch a single fish. First 10.5hr I was under heavy rain and wind(better to say typhoon), And after that still nothing, Cold dark water and no bite, To be honest I had two bites and not hooked . But hey I am going out  Monday again to try.

This is five from each category for my local lakes in central Mexico.  I forgot to picture an A rig, but it is quickly becoming a favorite.  Chatter bait is getting used more, but still not living up to my expectations, so it didn't make the list.  It was hard to narrow down the crankbait and top water  to only five each.  Will add Devils horse for a close number 6, and all H2O cranks if I'm fishing around lure eating gill nets.  I don't use soft plastics much, but these all work well when I do.  I buy the spinner bait and jig bodies, adding my own skirts and blades.

Top 5 overall

1. SK Caffeine Shad rigged weightless in baby bass

2. 3/8 oz. Jackhammer in GP (sorry for being basic)

3. 3/8 oz. T-rigged SK Rage Bug in summer craw

4. 1/8 oz. Ned rig TRD Ticklerz in hot snakes

5. Bill Lewis Rattle Trap - wayyyy better than SK Red Eye shad no matter what anyone says

Additional Favorites in those categories

Crank - Spro RK Crawler any color

TW - Googan Squad Blooper (surprisingly good)

Worm - SK Ocho

Creature - GY Hula Grub (if that even counts)

Spinnerbait - 1/2 oz. SK Burner (But honestly prefer bladed jig or swim jig in these situations)

Hmmm. I’ll just tell you what caught my 5 biggest bass this year.

1 - Late August, Fish chasing shad in the flats - LC 1.5 Silent Squarebill (CF Flake Flake Chartreuse Shad)

2. - May, during the spawn - Jackal Ganterel Jr. - (Scale Gill)

3. - First week of January Dragging Main Lake Points - Missle Baits Head Banger Football Jig - (Bruised) - ZMan Batwings (Black Blue)

4 - May, during the spawn - Netbait T-Mac (Bama Bug) - on a rig that has a swivel with flouro leader, bent size 2 finesse hook. I don’t know the name of this rig, bit it makes your trick worm do a crazy spinning dance under the surface. Bass hate that thing.

5 - Heat of July, pitching in Lilly pads - Gambler Burner Worm - (Junebug)

Award for hottest lure for one day. Evergreen Showerblows - 105 - ( Half Mirror Wakasagi) Schoolers could not leave this alone. Most fun topwater action I’ve had!

Are you happy with those hidden weight spinnerbait frames? I’ve been meaning to get some and try assembling my own spinnerbaits

Posted

Classic rapala, rooster tail, power worm ribbon tail in black or purple or a combo, bitsy bug w/a Rage trailer, and a white (or white chartreuse) spinner bait.  I will catch a fish with those, any day the water isn’t frozen.

They work well for me.  Highly recommend.  They are hard to put a trailer on, but I rarely use a trailer so it doesn't bother me.  Bait Monkey cares more about trailers, than the bass do where I fish.

Sweet well I’m gonna go ahead and snag some, where did you order them from? I know a few different companies make them
