jamarkwe Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 OK here is a few pics of the project I got going on....I am installing new wood, carpet, trolling motor, steering wheel..... I don't have any "before" pictures on hand but you can just Google 2005 BassTracker Procrappie175 and see if you wish.... The boat was in fair condition, I just wanted to redesign it a little Removing the front minnow well and the enclosed part of the rod locker for easy access to my rods. And adding a full rear fishing platform... The rear platform will be fully welded Aluminum construction.... I am almost done with it, more Pics to come in the days ahead.... 8-) Quote
TopDog Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Nice job with the wood so far! Gonna poly and carpet it? Quote
jamarkwe Posted March 24, 2010 Author Posted March 24, 2010 Yup, I already coated the wood with Resin and Glued down the carpet over the weekend. Ordered 25ft and it wasn't enough and had to order 6 more feet... Quote
RyneB Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Good luck, doing a good job so far. I have a ProCrappie 175 also. I bought it when i graduated high school when i used to fish crappie. Then i got into bass fishing and wish I had a bass boat now. I still crappie fish with my dad a few times a year though. My friends are always whining about the back deck being so small. Its all paid off, so for a free boat, it gets the job done. Id just like something with a bigger deck, it is hard to find a place for 7 rods and all your beer and gear when youre with another person. Yup I removed the front half of the rod box so I will be able to fit a couple of my 7fter.The rod tubes and hanger will still be there.. I will be adding a extended front deck next year while removing the front live well and adding bigger live well in the back deck... I'll add some more pictures tomorrow. Quote
